Almost all diesel vehicles depend on AdBlue®. This magic fluid works together with the SCR catalytic converter in order to reduce the nitrogen oxide (NOx) emitted by the engine.

However, one disadvantage of this fluid is its low freezing temperature, at -11°C! To avoid its freezing or crystallisation, the heating system of the tank uses the vehicle fuel to add heat. 

The solenoid valve that controls the coolant flow to the tank ensures that the AdBlue® remains hot and ready to act! 

In addition, other parameters as pressure and temperature are very important. Controlling these variables ensures an optimal AdBlue® injection for the perfect performance of the SCR catalytic converter.
