The control coil of an electromagnetic viscous clutch is in charge of activating or deactivating its control valve, depending on the signal emitted by the ECU. This signal is also dependant on the cooling requirements that the vehicle might need at any moment. 

However, not all the control coils of our clutches are the same, since each one of them is designed according to the specific characteristics of the batteries included in the vehicle in which the viscous clutch will be installed.
